General Information
Cobalt Coast Dive Resort on the Northwest shore of Grand Cayman is located in a secluded tranquil setting with spectacular views overlooking the inviting waters of the Caribbean Sea. Cobalt Coast Dive Resort is in Boatswains Bay, near the Cayman Island Turtle Farm and Boatwains Beach, just a few miles north of the hustle and bustle of Seven Mile Beach, yet still off the beaten track. Shore diving is available right off our private ocean dock. Unlimited shore diving is included in all scuba dive packages with 3 or more days of 2-tank boat dives. Both air and nitrox scuba tanks are available for you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This Resort is unique in that it is conveniently located with spectacular shore diving access just a few steps from your oceanfront suite.

Shore diving and snorkeling from your front door is always easy with the 120 ft. dock located in front of Divetech. This makes shore diving and snorkeling available 24 hours a day, every day of the year. Whether you enjoy scuba diving or snorkeling, accessing the warm, pristine waters from the dock into our own 'aquarium' is a fabulous experience that will never tire you. A rinse tank and full-size dry storage lockers for scuba diving equipment are conveniently located between the dive center and the hotel.
Stingray City
The stingrays began gathering in the area decades ago when fisherman used to clean fish on the shallow sand bars. The stingrays would forget their normally shy dispositions and feast on the guts of the cleaned fish. Soon the stingrays began to associate the sound of a boat motor with food. In the late 1980s, divers started feeding squid to the stingrays, which is one of their favorite dishes. Imagine a completely unique once in a lifetime experience you can find nowhere else in the world. As you enter our crystal clear turquoise waters the graceful southern stingrays glide tranquilly past in there natural habitat. Enjoy this unique experience of touching and feeding a Stingray, together with snorkeling amongst magnificent coral reefs and colorful tropical fish. The Stingray City Sandbar in Grand Cayman is lots of fun and suitable for everyone. Standing in only three feet of water you will be surrounded by more than two dozen friendly Stingray's.
About the Cayman Islands
